What to Expect

The primary goal at Ideal Medical is to provide comprehensive consultations and thorough examinations with a focus on prevention and early detection of disease. However, when illness occurs, our top priority is providing a prompt evaluation and treatment plan. Your monthly or annual fee includes the following:

  • Access to the patient portal to request appointments, send a secure and private note to the doctor, acquire your test results and review your health records.
  • Initial visit which includes a comprehensive consultation about your health history, followed by a complete physical exam. A focus on cardiovascular and cancer screening will happen based on your age, gender, social habits and family history.  An EKG and other office tests are done as needed based on your exam.  A time of 2 hours will be set aside for this exam, if necessary.
  • Annual Exams to review and update your medical history, medications and to review old tests. An annual physical consists of an individualized exam with cardiovascular and cancer screening per the current established guidelines, after a discussion with you about your risks and needs.  Recommendations for annual tests will be made at the end of this 1-hour visit.
  • New illness quick visits will be allotted 30 minutes for a focused exam. You can use the patient portal to see what times are available, or send a request to the doctor for another time to be added if possible. Some illnesses may be assessed over the phone or by web chat, and prescriptions can be sent directly to your pharmacy.
  • Hospital follow-up visits will include a review of your records and any new medications, followed by a thorough examination.
  • Other office tests included:
    • EKGs, Rapid strep, dipstick urinalysis and pregnancy tests.
