Todd Stack, PA-C, brings a blend of clinical skill, compassion, and real-life perspective to his role at Ideal Medical At Home. Raised in Texas, Todd completed his undergraduate studies in Exercise Technology (physiology) at Texas A&M University and went on to receive his medical training at Emory University. He feels a connection his community and has owned and operated a small business in the past. Todd has also traveled extensively in various medical and Christian missionary experiences in addition to family trips and has gained an appreciation and love for people of cultures worldwide. He has worked in busy emergency departments and in subspecialty surgical care — gaining deep experience in acute care, critical decision-making, and patient stabilization.
 
Since moving to Reno with his family in 2017, Todd has developed both a love for this unique community and an understanding of its healthcare challenges. He has heard countless stories in his ER work of patients saying the only reason for them being seen in the ER was having an inability to see their primary medical provider in a timely manner. Now, as part of the Ideal Medical At Home team, Todd strives to make quality care more accessible and personal, believing that many patients will thrive when being treated in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
Outside of medicine, Todd is an avid runner and triathlete — a pursuit that reflects his discipline, endurance, and commitment to health and wellness. He is also deeply devoted to his family: between he and his wife, they are proud parents of four children, and he cherishes spending time with them whenever he can.
Todd believes in treating patients as whole individuals — not just considering their medical needs or conditions. His love for travel and learning about new cultures helps him relate to patients from diverse backgrounds, while his active lifestyle and family-oriented values allow him to connect in a warm, personal way.
