Dr. Kevin Brown was born in Illinois but lived in the south and the Midwest prior to attending Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Following this, he completed a five-year dual residency in internal medicine and emergency medicine at Midwestern University. His training primarily took place in the Chicago area at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Loyola University Hospital, Rush/St. Luke/ Presbyterian Hospital, and Michael Reese Hospital, to name a few. In 2001, he moved to Reno to begin his career and raise his family. He has board certifications in both internal medicine (current) and emergency medicine and has clinical experience in both the academic and private practice settings. Outside of his practice, he enjoys all the wonderful outdoor attractions that the Reno/Tahoe area has to offer. He is married with two children, attends Sunday services at South Reno Baptist Church, and has organized multiple medical mission trips to Cambodia.
